How to reach us
With public transport from Termini railway station:
- Take bus no. 40 (leaving every 5 minutes)
- Get off at Largo di Torre argentina stop
- Retrace your steps and take the first on the left (Via dei Cestari, a pedestrian precinct)
- Keep walking as far as the square with the statue of an elephant surmounted by an obelisk (Piazza della Minerva)
- Pedestrian precinct ends: watch for car traffic here!
- The Library is the building facing you to the left of the church façade
With public transport from Fiumicino airport:
- Take the train to Fara Sabina (fare €5.50, ticket machines available)
- Get off at Roma Trastevere station
- Take tram no. 8 direction Argentina (your side of the road) as far as its final stop
- Cross the road and reach opposite corner of archaelogical area
- Cross main street and walk into pedestrian precinct (Via dei cestari)
- Keep walking as far as the square with the statue of an elephant surmounted by an obelisk (Piazza della Minerva)
- Pedestrian precinct ends: watch for car traffic here!

With public transport from Ciampino airport:
- Take the train to Roma Termini
- Take bus no. 40 (leaving every 5 minutes)

On foot from Termini railway station (40 mins walk)
- Proceed to Piazza della Repubblica
- Turn round fountain and go downwards into Via nazionale and into Via IV novembre, winding further downhill.
- Go across Piazza Venezia and straight ahead into narrow Via del plebiscito.
- Keep going straight into Piazza del Gesù and Corso Vittorio Emanuele II When you reach Largo di Torre argentina turn left into pedestrian Via dei cestari
- Keep walking as far as the square with the statue of an elephant surmounted by an obelisk (Piazza della Minerva)
- The Library is the building facing you to the left of the church façade
